Manchester United ready to make approach for £30m sensational Midfielder as Possible Casemiro replacement this summer transfer
Manchester United will likely reinforce their midfield department during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have had a tough Premier League campaign and have registered just 37 points from 29 games.
There will be plenty of changes before next season, and a midfielder could be one of the top priorities.
Christian Eriksen could leave on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of June.
Casemiro could also be offloaded. Kobbie Mainoo could join them through the exit door amid his contract stand-off.
Calciomercato.it now claim that United are one of the Premier League clubs ‘ready to go on the attack’ for Ardon Jashari this summer.
The 22-year-old signed for Club Brugge from Luzern for just £5 million last summer and has proved a brilliant acquisition for them.
The Switzerland international was superb during the club’s Champions League campaign and has caught the eye of elite European clubs.
He is on the radar of every top Serie A outfit, but United are prepared to compete for his signature.
It is reported that Jashari could cost £25-£29 million amid his immense progress with Brugge.
United could sign Jashari as Casemiro’s replacement
Casemiro’s future has been a regular topic of speculation. He could move to the Saudi Pro League when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The club will hope to receive around £30m for his services. The funds recouped could be used to purchase Jashari from the Belgian champions.
The Swiss is a defensive midfielder. He has completed 89 percent of his passes per league game this campaign with 50 percent of duels won. He has made 4.4 recoveries per outing.
His statistics are impressive in the Champions League too with more recoveries (5.9). Jashari has also chipped in with three goals and six assists from 41 appearances.
United may not have the financial strength to make £50m individual signings later this year, and the spending could be more cautious, as per David Ornstein.
Jashari would represent a good purchase. He is 22 and has proved his credentials at the highest level in Europe. He should only fare better in the prime of his career
