Man Utd predicted starting XI vs Brentford as Amad replacement named and key man dropped

Manchester United are aiming for back-to-back wins for the first time this season against Brentford.

Manchester United has a chance to build on a promising victory over Chelsea and win back-to-back Premier League games for the first time this season.

Given the lengthy transfer drama that resulted in Bryan Mbeumo moving to Old Trafford, Ruben Amorim’s team’s trip to Brentford could be viewed as a retaliatory game.

After Casemiro was sent off in the victory against Chelsea, the Red Devils will have to make at least two changes.

Amorim will need to find Bruno Fernandes a new midfield partner because he is suspended for the match on Saturday afternoon. Additionally, the head coach revealed that Amad will not be available since he has been granted compassionate leave due to a family bereavement.

Senne Lammens has to make his debut at some point and with Brentford’s set-piece threat, this may be time to leave Altay Bayindir out. Harry Maguire did not do too much wrong against Chelsea, but Yoro-De Ligt-Shaw appears to be Amorim’s favoured back three and they should get another run-out.

Bringing Kobbie Mainoo in alongside Bruno Fernandes may be at odds with Amorim’s plans, but Manuel Ugarte has disappointed in every appearance this season and the skipper needs some support in midfield.

Dropping Benjamin Sesko may appear harsh, but he still needs time to adapt to English football. Starting Rasmus Hojlund every week did little for his confidence, and Mason Mount started the season so brightly, let the Slovenian sensation attack tired legs for the last 30 minutes and get his first goal.

Man United predicted starting XI vs Brentford (3-4-2-1): Lammens; Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw; Dalot, Fernandes, Mainoo, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Mount, Cunha
