Man Utd fans have lot to say about Sekou Koneperformance vs ASEAN All-Stars, ‘silky’ talent is full-blown ‘regen’ as the ‘Next Pogba’ claim made
Manchester United fans dropped a powerful reaction to Sekou Kone’s display after Ruben Amorim’s men were in action vs ASEAN All-Stars on Wednesday afternoon.
Ruben Amorim’s side are on a post-season tour of Asia this week after Manchester United’s lacklustre 2024-25 Premier League season came to an end on Sunday.
The Red Devils travelled to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium and United faced ASEAN All-Stars in a friendly match in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia
Amorim’s men came up short on Wednesday and United struggled to make a real impact in the final third against ASEAN All-Stars.
Manchester United fans took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and felt that Sekou Kone showed shades of Paul Pogba with his performance.
The United talent impressed Red Devils supporters with his brief display in midfield and they praised Kone’s quality on the pitch against ASEAN All-Stars on Wednesday.
“I see a lot of Pogba in Sekou Kone,” one United fan said.
Someone else claimed: “Manchester United have their Paul Pogba in Sekou Kone; BTW, what a player.”
Another Red Devils supporter tweeted: “Sekou Kone is a special talent. We might actually be having a Pogba regen in him.”
“Sekou Kone will be a special player for this club,” a fourth wrote
While a fifth posted: “Sekou Kone. Another one who could potentially be pushed to the first-team squad? Physically imposing, aggressive and great with the ball at his feet.”
“Investing hella stocks into Sekou Kone, BTW, [the] potential is real,” another added.
Somebody else simply said: “Sekou Kone… what an exciting player!”
And an eighth suggested: “Sekou Kone was the most exciting part of the United game today, so silky on the ball. [Manchester United] need someone like him, can’t loan him out.”
