Man Utd Fans Furious With Amad Diallo Over Post-Chelsea Moment With Garnacho

Following the Chelsea game, Manchester United supporters took to social media to express their reactions to what Amad Diallo did with Alejandro Garnacho.

In an attempt to restart their 25/26 season, United hosted Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday night.

After Robert Sanchez fouled Bryan Mbeumo, the Blues, who were undefeated before the match, were down to 10 men in just five minutes. Then, strikes from Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes gave United a 2-0 lead.

Just before half-time, the Red Devils saw Casemiro sent off for two bookable offences.

In the second period, Chelsea pushed to get back into the game and Trevoh Chalobah made it 2-1 with 80 minutes on the clock.

Eventually, Ruben Amorim’s men held on for a much-needed victory, taking them to 10th place in the Premier League table.

After the match, United star Amad took to social media to post a picture of himself and Garnacho, who left Old Trafford for Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window.

The pair posed in front of the camera holding each other’s shirts.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “We should stop doing this, there’s no friends before and after the game. We shouldn’t be smiling and taking pictures.”

Another tweeted: “Not a good look Amad…”

A third fan added: “Nice! Tell Chelsea to take him next.”

Someone else wrote: “Not a good look for Amad to say the least.”

However, a fifth commented: “You lot need to let it go. It’s not that deep they’re close friends.”

On Sunday morning, it appeared that Amad had deleted the Garnacho story and also removed all of his Instagram posts.

Despite chasing the match, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca opted against putting Garnacho on, with Tyrique George getting the nod ahead of the Argentine.

Speaking after the match, Maresca was asked about his decision to snub Garnacho.

He said: “Garnacho was ready to go on, but then Wes [Fofana] asked for the change, because he was tired after a long time.

“So we changed and we decided to go for Malo Gusto, the idea [had been] to give Garnacho minutes.”
