Man United told to sign Liverpool target whose asking price has ‘dropped below £20m’

Manchester United has been instructed to take advantage of the fact that Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa is currently unpopular in Italy and available for a fee.

Federico Chiesa, an inexpensive Italian star, is someone Manchester United should try to sign, according to former Red Devil Louis Saha.

The agent of the Juventus star recently traveled to England in an attempt to help his client close a contract with a Premier League team, but he returned empty-handed.

Clubs would have been clamoring to sign Chiesa if this had occurred following his incredible exploits at Euro 2020, as Liverpool attempted to do with a hastily rejected £85 million bid in 2021.

Ten Hag’s frontline could use some reinforcements, with Rasmus Hojlund sidelined for the beginning of the upcoming Premier League season and both Jadon Sancho and Antony out of favour.

“Manchester United should go and sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus,” Saha told csdb.gg. “I love him as a player, he is so passionate and will cause plenty of trouble for the opposition whether he is at the top of his game or not.”

The frustrated Chiesa is part of a summer clear-out at Juventus as the club looks to offload eight first-team players under Thiago Motta’s new regime.

“He always tries to upset the opposition and he would be a great target for United,” Saha continued. “They have creative players, but none that can match what he can do.

“Another player I love is [Barcelona-bound] Dani Olmo, who proved how good he was at Euro 2024, these are the types of players that United need, those who take risks and make life much easier for strikers.
