Man United set to agree deal to sell star winger and willing to sign £16.9million a year England forward – Report

Man United is only seeking to put the finishing touches on what has been an incredible transfer window as they have completed the most of their summer transfer business.

Jadon Sancho is one player they are actively attempting to let go of. The gifted English winger made a loan move to Borussia Dortmund before returning to Old Trafford.

After burying their differences and deciding to move on, Erik ten Hag and Sancho’s relationship appeared good for a few weeks.

However, the 24-year-old was later excluded from multiple matchday squads. The Red Devils are eager to move on from the former Dortmund winger before the transfer deadline.

Sheth says United would like to take on the ex-Man City winger but are not actively trying to make it happen.

The £16.9m a year star is Chelsea’s highest-paid player and has fallen out of favor under Enzo Maresca.

The Blues will not want to keep a player they don’t count on at such astronomical wages and will be keen to move him on now.

Man Utd however have no need to replace Sancho in the squad even if they move him on. They have Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Amad Diallo as four options for the wings which is more than enough.

Unless Chelsea offer Sterling on really reasonable terms, Man Utd must not really try and sign the 29-year-old attacker. Even if he were to come, he would have to agree to a huge wage cut as the Red Devils shouldn’t offer him such figures.

With regards to Sancho, today might be his last day associated with Manchester United. Things haven’t worked out for him at Old Trafford and it’s time to make a clean break and move on to a new adventure
