Man United “scouting” Outstanding La Liga youngster to sign in January amid Strong Real Madrid lonks transfer expert confirms

It’s not particularly noteworthy that a talent like Sanchez is one of the names Man United is keeping an eye on, as their scouts are undoubtedly keeping an eye on many of the top young players in the globe.

Fabrizio Romano, in an exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for his most recent Daily Briefing column, implied that this was simply routine scouting and that Manchester United was simply keeping an eye on an emerging player rather than keeping a close eye on him because transfer negotiations were particularly advanced.

This sounds like something that is very early on for the United team, since it’s possible that they may scout Sanchez for a while before deciding they’re not interested in pursuing it further.

Discussing the Sanchez links as he’s been mentioned as being on the radar of both Man United and Real Madrid, Romano said:

“One name coming up as well as Eze is Sevilla winger Juanlu Sanchez, mentioned as a target for the Red Devils and also for Real Madrid in the Spanish press. For now, however, there is nothing concrete into it.

“We’ve had many links every day but the reality for the moment is that there are no talks, no negotiations – it’s just normal scouting and nothing else.”

MUFC fans may well keep an eye on Sanchez as well in his games in La Liga now, but it will probably be some time before we know if this is really anything that serious and worth getting excited about.

Sevilla do tend to cash in on their best players when big clubs come calling, though, so it will be interesting to see if Sanchez becomes their latest high-profile sale
