Man United ‘reignite interest’ as they Enter transfer Race for £60m PSG Star with 25-goals/assist this season amid strong Arsenal links

Manchester United reignite their interest for Xavi Simons amid a host of European elites vying for his signature in the summer transfer window.

Xavi Simons of Paris Saint-Germain is apparently the subject of renewed interest from Manchester United following the teenage midfielder’s successful Bundesliga loan stint with RB Leipzig.

Manchester United has reportedly reached out to PSG about a possible transfer, although they are up against competition from a number of elite clubs, according to the French publication L’Equipe.

Manchester United wants the trade to be permanent, but PSG is now willing to loan the player rather than sell him.

Simons, who played for RB Leipzig on loan in Germany during the previous season, consistently put on performances that attracted the attention of numerous top European teams.

The Dutch youngster contributed significantly, netting ten goals and providing 15 assists. His form has made him one of the most sought-after players in the summer transfer window.

With Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho expected to depart this summer, the Red Devils are keen to improve their attacking threat.

However, Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City have also expressed interest in the young Dutch international.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are also keen on bringing the midfielder back to Germany which sets the stage for an exciting transfer window for Xavi Simons and PSG.

United is also considering other targets to bolster its squad. Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise is another name on their radar.

The 22-year-old winger is valued at £60 million, but Chelsea currently leads the race for his signature
