Man United are expected to be in the conversation for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, and he could be a very good signing for the club according to reporter Iomie Stanley

Rasmus Hojlund, 21, has scored 13 goals in 34 games in all competitions but has not been the impressive striker that Manchester United have needed him to be this seasob under Ten Hag.

And it is clear the former Ajax boss wants more firepower in attack going forward as the club seen to be heading in the wrong direction, with a number of big names linked with a move to Old Trafford.

‘Manchester United spent all that money on signing Hoijlund when they could have signed Harry Kane for pretty much the same price – and he is banging in 30 goals this season at Bayern Munich.

Ten Hag may not even be the manager in the summer window as there is alot of speculation over his future – so even if the club sign a new striker – he may not be the one that takes the club forward.

Sesko is a very good young striker that could have a bright future in the game – he has all the tools to come to the Premier League and be a massive it on those Man United fans.

‘The Red Devils are far too big to not be challenging for that Premier League title or even the Champions League – the signing of Sesko would make Hoijlund step up his game and he would be a very good option for the club, i believe.’

Man United Pushing for Kobbie Mainoo Deal

Manchester United are pushing to extend Kobbie Mainoo’s contract by this summer after initial discussions in February, and he fully deserves a massive contract at Old Trafford according to reports.

Mainoo, whose current Manchester United contract runs until 2027, has impressed with a string of eye-catching displays that saw him earn a first England cap last month.

He is a player that is now being tipped to become an absolute superstar of the game and there has even been some reports that Spanish giants Real Madrid are eyeing up a potential deal in the summer.

However – The transfer reporter says INEOS, who are now in control of football operations after Sir Jim Ratcliffe became minority owner in February, want 18-year-old Mainoo to be one of the faces of the new project.

It is claimed a new deal for the midfielder would see a salary increase and several add-ons, and pretty much end all the speculation about his immediate future at the club.
