Man United receive huge boost to sign €25m Ivan Toney alternative as transfer option re-emerges

Ajax striker Brian Brobbey and Top Manchester united transfer target is reportedly keen to play in the Premier League next season amid ongoing speculation around his future.

Due to his collaboration with Erik ten Hag, the 22-year-old Netherlands international has long been anticipated to arrive at Old Trafford.

After a difficult year at RB Leipzig, when he failed to make an impression, Brobbey joined the Amsterdam giants and has since scored 49 goals in 119 games.

He has also received three caps for the senior team of the Netherlands.

It is believed that he may go from the Johan Cruyff Arena once more this summer. A transfer to United appears implausible as of right now.

They signed Joshua Zirkzee this summer to further expand Ten Hag’s options after bringing in Rasmus Hojlund as their primary attacker last summer.

Sales of center backs and a midfield player are crucial to any further agreements.

INEOS are also open to signing another left-back. As such, there’s no immediate plan to strengthen up even further in attacking quarters, although there’s some suggestion United would revisit England striker Ivan Toney if Brentford reduce his asking price – mooted to be around £40million.
