Man united receive double boost as Rasmus Hojlund gives Man United injury update ahead of Everton Game
Latest Manchester United injury news as Rasmus Hojlund provides an update on his recovery from a muscle injury ahead of United’s Premier League fixture against Everton
Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has provided an update on his return from injury.
Hojlund has been sidelined with a muscle injury for the last couple of weeks and has missed United’s last three games.
The striker was not involved in the Premier League defeats to Fulham and Manchester City as well as the FA Cup fifth-round win over Nottingham Forest.
Before sustaining the injury, Hojlund had been enjoying his best run of form in front of goal since completing a £72 million move from Atalanta last summer.
The striker had scored in each of his previous seven appearances in all competitions, six of which came in the Premier League, to take his tally to 13 for the campaign.
United are busy preparing to face Everton in the top-flight fixture at Old Trafford in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
It remains to be seen if Hojlund will be fit enough to return for the game, with the club confirming on February 23 that he would be sidelined for around two to three weeks with the injury.
