Man United ready to agree new deal with £70million “Outstanding” star

After resolving the future of Erik ten Hag, Manchester United are now ready to hold on to skipper, Bruno Fernandes, as well.

Earlier this month according to The Guardian, it is revealed that the Portuguese international could be offloaded for £70million as he wants a bumper pay rise at Old Trafford.

However, now, Man Utd are ready to initiate talks to agree a new deal and match the ambitions to ensure Fernandes stays at the club.

Football Insider claims that the Red Devils will begin negotiations to sign their captain to a new deal following the end of Euro 2024.

The Seleccao playmaker is content at United, according to the news source.

Given that the Dutch manager is staying put, Ten Hag will fight to keep Bruno on staff, calling him a “great” captain.

After a miserable season, Fernandes was Man United’s best player last season, and we cannot afford to lose our most valuable player.

The 29-year-old offensive midfielder led the record English champions with 15 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.

He deservedly won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award, for the third time. Only Cristiano Ronaldo and David De Gea have won the prize on more occasions.

The former Sporting CP star is a key member of the Portugal national squad and is expected to start for the 2016 champions against Czechia next week
