Man United Plot Summer swoop as Aston Villa joins race to sign cut-price Atletico Madrid superstar left-back as they ready bid

Manchester United and Aston Villa are interested in Atletico Madrid’s Reinildo Mandava, considering summer moves for the left-back.

The 30-year-old moved to Atleti from Lille in January 2022 and quickly became a regular in the first team until he suffered a serious knee injury in February last year.

‘I’m a player who doesn’t think about the other players, whether it’s Vinicius or whoever, I face every player in the same way,’ Reinildo told the Mirror.

“Obviously some are more aggressive, some you have to pay twice as much attention to because they’re very fast, great players.

“But I’m not looking at their name – I do my work and I’m a defender, my job is to stop them, and that’s what I’m going to try and do like I do with all other players
