Man United are ready to cash in on Victor Lindelof and move away from the Ice Man.

We’ve said it numerous times already, but there’s going to be major changes at Manchester United this summer.

The staff at board level have already changed drastically, while the Reds are now looking to address wholesale problems within the dressing room.

Defensively, United have been atrocious this season. Erik ten Hag has been offered no consistency whatsoever in that area of the pitch, making his job infinitely harder. Hence, it makes sense to switch things up significantly.

In terms of centre-halves, United have been heavily linked with signing Gleison Bremer this week.

Once again, talkSPORT believe Bremer is a target, though they also offer a snippet of information in regard to potential player sales.

According to their report, United have placed 29-year-old Victor Lindelof up for sale this summer. On top of that, the Old Trafford club want to bring in two defenders, as Raphael Varane is also set to leave on a free transfer.

Lindelof has blown hot and cold ever since arriving in Manchester many years ago. As time has gone on, I’d argue he has improved, though he always had that massive mistake in him.

The injuries have also been mounting this term, making it even tougher for the Swede to force his way into the manager’s plans.

Again, this just further signals a real changing of the guard taking place in Manchester. Out with the old and in with the new.

In terms of replacements, Jarrad Branthwaite, Tosin Adarbioyo and the aforementioned Bremer are all possible replacements for Ten Hag (assuming he remains in charge this summer).
