His last one and a half years at the Catalan club was impressive with Xavi Hernandez bringing the best out of him.

Since his move to PSG at the beginning of last season, he has emerged as one of the club’s most consistent players.

He was an assist machine for the Ligue 1 giants last season and this time, he has added goalscoring to his arsenal as well.

Four goals and four assists in seven games to start off the season show the good form the former Dortmund man is in.

One would only hope that the Frenchman can keep his fitness and consistency through the campaign and he would be a good signing for Man Utd.

The report claims that a fee of around £50.4m could be sufficient for Man Utd to sign Ousmane Dembele in this winter.
