Man United fans are all saying the same thing on Alejandro Garnacho’s Champions League debut performance for Chelsea ‘some people never’ Point Made

Manchester United fans have wasted no time reacting to Alejandro Garnacho’s Champions League debut with Premier League side Chelsea against Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening.

Alejandro Garnacho’s Manchester United career came to an end in the summer after the 21-year-old Spain-born winger’s relationship with Ruben Amorim fractured.

The former United attacker was frozen out of the Red Devils’ first-team squad and Premier League side Chelsea led the race to sign Garnacho in the summer

Garnacho finally signed for Chelsea in late August and the Blues paid United a transfer fee worth £40m for the Red Devils’ youth academy prospect

The Argentina international inked a deal with his new club until 2032 and Garnacho received his Chelsea debut against Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Enzo Maresca turned to the former United star in the second half at the Gtech Community Stadium, with Garnacho replacing Joao Pedro in the 2-2 draw.

Enzo Maresca once again turned to the ex-Manchester United star and Garnacho came off the bench to replace Pedro Neto in the 68th minute against Bayern Munich.

United fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, did not pass up the opportunity to take a swipe at Garnacho for failing to make a real impact in the match for Chelsea

“Garnacho moved to Chelsea to have a better career,” one Red Devils supporter tweeted

Another said: “Manchester United fans [are] realising Chelsea [haven’t] won a single match since adding Garnacho to their squad.”

Someone else added: “Chelsea fans must think Garnacho plays like [Cristiano] Ronaldo, and that Manchester United are the ones ‘killing his career.’”

“Chelsea thought they [signed] prime Ronaldo when they bought Garnacho,” a fourth United fan posted.

A fifth X user wrote: “Garnacho, as a winger, has more backwards passes than [Trevoh] Chalobah in this [match]. He’s only [been] on for 15mins [sic].”

“Garnacho [is] shooting when he had options, some people never change. He’s your problem now, CFC [Chelsea] fans,” somebody else commented.

Another hilariously asked: “Did Garnacho play today?”

And an eighth suggested: “Why exactly did Garnacho join Chelsea? Left Manchester United just to sit on the bench; can’t even start the way he did for us.”
