Man United considering Burnley star Midfielder as Manuel Ugarte alternative -Report

Manchester United are reportedly mulling over signing 26-year-old Burnley midfielder Sander Berge this summer.

According to Transfers Podcast’s Duncan Castles, they claim that if Manchester United is unable to buy Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain, they will move toward Burnley’s 26-year-old midfielder Sander Berge.

In order to strengthen their midfield, Manchester United is eager to sign a talented defensive midfielder, and Ugarte is one of their main targets.

They would be quite happy to add the Uruguayan international, and it will be intriguing to see whether they can get PSG to give them a fair price for him. Man Utd is interested in Sander Berge.

In the event that the plan to sign Ugarte is unsuccessful, Manchester United is prepared to move for Sander Berge, having already made plans for contingencies. Joey Veerman and Adrien are further choices.

Berge has played in the Premier League with Sheffield United in the past, before they were relegated from the Premier League.

He could be a useful acquisition for the Red Devils. He has shown his quality with the Clarets, and there is no doubt that he is good enough to play for a bigger club.

The opportunity to play for Manchester United will be quite attractive, and he will be tempted to join them if the opportunity presents itself.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can secure an agreement with Burnley.

Sander Berge is likely to cost a lot less compared to the South American midfielder as well.

The 26-year-old knows the Premier League well, and he should be able to settle in quickly and make an instant impact at Old Trafford if the transfer goes through.
