Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes highlighted 3 things that new signing Mason Mount brings into the United team.

Mount joined United from Chelsea for an initial £55m fee. The price could rise to £60m depending on success and appearances over several seasons

The English International’s contract runs until the summer of 2028 with the option to be extended by a further year.

Fernandes spoke to to the club website (h/t Manchester Evening News) while talking about his new team-mate. He said:

“Mason is a quality player. He brings a lot of energy, quality, and ability. Everyone knows what he’s capable of but his energy and hard work talks for itself. Everyone can see he’s here with full focus to give the best of himself, he wants to help the team and make them better.

“He’s one of those players who always puts the team first. Having him on my side is much better than playing against him.”

Mount made 195 appearances for Chelsea while scoring 33 goals and producing 37 assists. The 24-year-old came from the Chelsea youth system.
