Man United are keen on signing £50m ‘dream target’ this summer as possible Raphael Varane replacement

Manchester United are keen on signing LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro this summer.

Fabrizio Romano claims that Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping an eye on the talent.

This summer, Manchester United has identified the 18-year-old French defender as a “dream target,” according to the Italian journalist who spoke with Give Me Sport. Seeing if the Red Devils can close the deal will be interesting.

The defender is hoping for a move to Real Madrid, and Romano says he will give the Spanish powerhouses his all if they make a bid for him.

He said: “Leny Yoro is a dream target for Manchester United, also the same for Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool.

“All three clubs are still there trying to understand if something happens between Real Madrid and Lille but the reality is that the player is waiting for Real Madrid.

“The player is giving total priority to Real Madrid. He wants to go to Real Madrid, and so they remain the big favourites in this story. The only way for other clubs to enter is in case the deal collapses between Real Madrid and Lille.”

Yoro has established himself as one of the finest young defenders in Ligue 1 and he could be a key player for Manchester United. He could be the ideal replacement for Raphael Varane, who left the club earlier this summer. He would help the Red Devils stay organised at the back.

Liverpool keen on Leny Yoro

Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world and they could provide the 18-year-old with the platform to push for trophies.

They have a proven track record when it comes to nurturing young players and the Frenchman is likely to improve with a move to Old Trafford as well.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Manchester United and Liverpool will certainly hope that Real Madrid do not come in for the player this summer.
