I would love to play for.. – 19 Goal Premier League Striker Drops Big Transfer Hint Amid Interest From United

England international Ollie Watkins has hinted that he will stay at Aston Villa next season.

Man United have been tipped to make an “audacious swoop” for the 19-goals Premier League forward whose goals secured Villa fourth spot.

“On a personal note, I’ve been consistent. There’s not much more I can do. It was the aim – to get to 20 goals – but there’s always next season. Has it been a breakthrough? Yes. But I wasn’t surprised by how well I’ve done because of all the hard work I’ve put in. And next season will be better, I’m sure of that.”

Erik ten Hag’s side are said to have a rather limited transfer budget and, while they are keen on recruiting a No.9, Watkins would probably have been outside of their price range anyway.

The likes of Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with the player.
