I will join Man United on one condition – Thomas Tuchel has made next move clear after reasons for Man Utd snub emerge

Former Bayern Munich Boss Thomas Tuchel, has always been a fan of the Premier League and was strongly linked to the Manchester United position at the end of the last campaign.

Even though the German coach did not get the Manchester United job earlier this year, Thomas Tuchel has made no secret of his ambition to play in the Premier League once more.

After it was revealed in February of last year that the 51-year-old Tuchel will step down as head coach of Bayern Munich at the conclusion of the 2023–2024 season, he was immediately linked to several prominent positions.

Considering the pressure Erik ten Hag was under during the close of the previous season, Manchester United was one of those roles.

Ten Hag was handed a contract extension off the back of an impressive triumph over Manchester City in last season’s FA Cup final, but the Dutchman is already under siege following an underwhelming start to the current campaign.

That in turn has led to speculation over his future and reports recounting details between the talks which took place between Ten Hag and United. Bild claim that it was the club’s transfer policy which led to Tuchel declining further talks.

While it remains to be seen if the top brass at Old Trafford would approach Tuchel again should they decide to dispense with Ten Hag’s services in the coming weeks, the man himself has already opened the door for another spell in England.

During an interview back in May, Tuchel spoke fondly of his time at Chelsea – where he won the Champions League – and made it clear that he would welcome another opportunity to work in the Premier League.
