I prefer to join.. – £52m Euros 2024 Winner and star midfielder sends surprise transfer message to Man United amid strong Man city interest

Spain star Dani Olmo has warned clubs could face a battle for his signature should they fail to trigger his release clause.

One of Europe’s top teams, Manchester United, is reportedly considering a bid for the RB Leipzig attacker.

Olmo, 26, has been a key member of La Roja’s team as they attempt to snap their 12-year drought without winning the European Championship.

The striker will aim to prolong England’s suffering in the major tournaments when they play in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final. With three goals, Olmo and Three Lions attacker Harry Kane are tied for the tournament’s best goalscorer.

The playmaker has also been linked to Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool. There have been rumors that he has a release clause of €60 million (£50 million) that expires on July 20, a few days after the competition.

Olmo said: “My people know what I want to do… I have too much to do with the Euros to be thinking about other things. I have a contract with Leipzig and we have a very good relationship. There will be no problem.

“My 60 million clause until July 20? You know what you have to do,’ he said. ‘If not, you’ll have to fight a little later.”

Elsewhere, Benfica have turned down offers from United and Paris Saint-Germain for midfield starlet Joao Neves. According to A Bola, the Parisens have been knocked back for their €70m (£58m) offer, while Erik ten Hag’s side have been rebuffed for their reported €60m (£50m) approach.

It has been said that the 19-year-old has a €120m (£102m) release clause, which the Portuguese giants are said to be holding out for. The Portuguese outlet has claimed that PSG and United have faced disappointment for their initial movement while Manchester City, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on the situation.

However, in their report, A Bola have claimed that United are strong competitors but Luis Enrique’s side are at the forefront and pushing for a quick deal.
