FULL AGREEMENT! 100% Confirmed – Inter Milan chief flies to London to finalise and complete Andre Onana’s transfer to Man United in the next few hours

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has travelled to London to try and finalise the transfer of Andre Onana to Manchester United, according to Calciomercato.

The Red Devils have been in constant negotiations with the Nerazzurri over the past couple of weeks, but they have yet to meet the asking price for the goalkeeper.

As per Calciomercato, the club made an offer of €55 million for the 27-year-old last weekend, but the proposal remains lower than the Nerazzurri’s €60m price tag.

Ausilio has now flown to London to meet United representatives. The 48-year-old is aiming to finalise a deal for Onana quickly so that a replacement can be signed.

United need to wrap up Onana deal quickly

The Red Devils signed Mason Mount from Chelsea earlier this month, but the process was far from straightforward. They failed with three bids before reaching an agreement.

We are seeing something similar in their negotiations for Onana. The club have reportedly failed with three bids of €45m, €50m and €55m for the former Ajax goalkeeper.

United are now prepared to hold direct talks with Ausilio today and hopefully, a deal will be sealed.

In our opinion, the hierarchy should be more pro-active with the discussions. The budget is limited, but the club can’t continue to spend weeks negotiating on a single player.

The Red Devils are due to travel to the United States following their friendly against Lyon in Edinburgh on Wednesday. The club have to finalise Onana’s transfer before the trip.

United face Arsenal, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in the US. Onana needs to be integrated into the first-team plans for those games to find cohesion with the back four.
