According to reports, Erik ten Hag’s ideal replacement is the former Real Madrid manager, should the Dutchman fail to prevent the worst-case scenario at Old Trafford this season.

Following Manchester United’s difficult start to the season—the Red Devils are currently placed 14th in the Premier League standings after three games, having earned just four points out of a potential nine—Ten Hag is once again the subject of intense scrutiny.

After years of disappointment, fans at Old Trafford are running out of patience.

Speculation regarding the Dutchman’s future is already gaining traction, with former Chelsea and Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel being considered as a possible replacement.

Zidane, described as a ‘serial winner’, has always shown interest in coaching France’s national team and would have to learn the language if he were to identify England as his next career step.

Speaking to the media in February, Zidane admitted he would be open to returning to coaching, almost three years after leaving Real Madrid for the second time in May 2021.
