DONE DEAL! – How Man United could line up next season after three summer signings with Andre Onana set to sign a 5 year deal in the next few hours with Personal Terms agreed

Man Utd have signed Mason Mount and have identified two other priority transfers for this summer.

There will be a new look to Manchester United by the time they line up again for the new season.

After a successful debut campaign at the club, we’re getting closer to seeing a United side truly in the image of Erik ten Hag, something that should be a lot clearer by the start of the new season.

Ten Hag is eager to reinforce his squad during the summer window and is also aware of the need to get business done as early as possible so that new signings can be up and running for the start of the season.

United have learned their lesson from a year ago, when they lost their opening two matches before making high-profile moves for Casemiro and Antony to help get them on the right track.

Mason Mount spoke of his eagerness to hit the ground running at United, and he was already training with his new teammates on Thursday ahead of a possible debut against Leeds next week.

He is already showing all the signs of a quality addition to the squad and appears to have the personality as well as the quality to play a huge part in the United side next season.

Next up will be strengthening other areas of the squad. It is no secret that adding a striker is the priority this summer, while signing a goalkeeper isn’t far behind, with Ten Hag ready to move on from David de Gea.

Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund and Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana are now United’s principal targets up front and in goal, with talks ongoing to see if either can be signed.

United are prepared for the right players this summer, but the preference is to get them signed as early as possible and, in an ideal situation, have them in place for the start of the US tour.

United could sign three starters this summer
It should be doable with Onana, though any move for Hojlund could rely on selling players first and therefore might not be as quick to complete as a deal for a new goalkeeper.

In the very worst instance, United will hope to have those starters in place for the start of the season to ensure they hit the ground running and do not lose valuable ground in the opening weeks.

Those three signings would all be in the mould of Ten Hag, and by next season, over half of the starting line-up could consist of players he has brought to the club rather than inherited.
