Coming off a two game losing streak, which leaves Manchester United on the verge of a second three game losing run this season, a win is vital.

Last weekend Erik ten Hag watched his side unimaginatively lose 1-0 to Crystal Palace with Joachim Andersen scoring the goal.

Following this, Champions League nights returned to Old Trafford with Galatasaray walking out surprise victors in a bizarre 3-2 game.

That leaves Ten Hag now desperately needing a win to avoid going into the international break on a losing streak

Despite much talk over the goalkeeping position, Andre Onana definitely starts against Brentford with Altay Bayindir waiting for his debut

Defensively United will start Diogo Dalot at right-back and due to the fact Sergio Reguilon isn’t quite ready for this weekend, Sofyan Amrabat continues at left-back.

At centre-half, Raphael Varane is a must, while next to him we think Victor Lindelof gets dropped for Harry Maguire, as the Swede has struggled in recent weeks.

In midfield, the same options remain which limits the ability of Ten Hag to make changes here. Casemiro and Mason Mount therefore likely both start with Bruno Fernandes slightly more advanced.

That being said we would love to see Ten Hag made a drastic change to fix the midfield, potentially dropping Bruno who looks exhausted lately

On the right side, Antony should complete his return following his absence. He then should be joined by Marcus Rashford on the left, who is bound to catch fire anytime now.

Up front that leaves the most in form player at the club, Rasmus Hojlund who is coming off a brace mid-week against Galatasaray.
