Manchester United’s remaining Premier League games are now just a formality. The Red Devils have nigh-on no chance at making it into the top four, thus, Champions League football will not be on the table next term.

Next up is a home game against Sheffield United. This, much like the Coventry City game, should be considered an absolute gimme’. However, nothing is a certainty for the Red Devils right now

The injuries are still piling up here so in some areas, it’s going to be a real make-shift starting line-up named by Ten Hag. The quick turnaround in between games makes it difficult for some recently injured players to return.

Andre Onana will start as per usual, which is the easiest team news decision Ten Hag will likely make here.

Diogo Dalot was United’s best outfield player at the weekend so he will continue at right-back. I don’t like it, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts in the left-back slot. Casemiro will play as a make-shift centre-half, alongside Harry Maguire, who continues to play through his own injury.

Kobbie Mainoo has to play a full 90 here. The midfield looks completely lost without him, and it’s crazy to think we’re so reliant on a teenager. Christian Eriksen will start amid injuries to Mount and McTominay. Bruno Fernandes will complete the midfield trio.

Rasmus Hojlund leads the line as per usual, with the Dane yet to really get going since his injury return. To his right, Amad will be presented with a rare start. Over on the left, Alejandro Garnacho starts, replacing a Marcus Rashford who could miss this game through injury
