Manchester United Football Club are looking to close out the season strongly, ahead of an FA Cup final against Manchester City at the end of May.
The Red Devils have five Premier League games to play before then. First up, Burnley visit Old Trafford as they look to stave off relegation from the top division.
Erik ten Hag’s side is still massively depleted by injury, while it looks like the only player who will return here is Mason Mount. The likes of Marcus Rashford, Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans are unlikely to make their comebacks in time to feature.
At this point, the only thing United can guarantee is entertainment. There’s never a dull moment where the 20-time Premier League champions are concerned and that is very likely to be the case again.
United will have to put in a performance that’s close to their best to secure all three points and with that in mind, let’s give you the full run down of the starting side.
Andre Onana will start in between the sticks, after the man from Cameroon made a pretty horrendous mistake against Sheffield United in midweek.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka reverted back to right-back in that game, which felt like a better fit for The Spider. Diogo Dalot played at left-back and put in another excellent performance. Harry Maguire starts at the heart of defence as per usual, with Casemiro completing the back four.
Kobbie Mainoo plays in midfield, this time alongside Scott McTominay, who was fit enough for some minutes off the bench on Wednesday. Bruno Fernandes starts and captains the Reds. He is in brilliant form.
Rasmus Hojlund finally scored after making his injury return in his most recent outing, with Alejandro Garnacho starting on the left-hand side. Amad is finally given an opportunity to impress from the off
