£30m-rated Juventus star forward offered to Man United in sensational swap deal for Jadon Sancho

Juventus are prepared to offer Federico Chiesa to Manchester United as part of their efforts to sign Jadon Sancho.

Sancho’s time at United is set to come to an end this summer following last year’s dramatic falling out with Erik ten Hag.

The winger has not played for the club since last August, exiled by the Dutchman before spending the second-half of last season on loan back at Borussia Dortmund.

Any faint chances of ten Hag being reintegrated into the team were dashed when United decided to extend his contract.

Sancho is one of the players that United is hoping to sell for a respectable price in the upcoming weeks in order to supplement their meager transfer budget.

Man United paid £72 million to get him to Manchester three years ago, therefore they are reportedly seeking a fee of about £40 million, which would be a significant loss. With Chiesa as one of their wingers, Juventus is facing their own dilemma.

While Juventus are prepared to offer him a new contract, it would be on a lower salary than his current deal.

Interest from Roma in Chiesa has faded with Juventus considering other options. Gazzetta dello Sport report they are ready to offer Chiesa to United in a swap deal involving Sancho, who remains a top target for the Serie A giants.

Chiesa has been a Juventus player since 2020, joining the club permanently in 2022 after two seasons on loan from Fiorentina.

The 26-year-old scored 10 times and provided three assists for his club last season.

While ten Hag is considering the possibility of Chiesa joining, the club do appear to be set to strengthen their attack elsewhere with Joshua Zirkzee, who has agreed to join United from Bologna.
