Manchester United are hoping to get revenge over AFC Bournemouth when they host the Cherries in the Premier League later today.

The south coast club humiliated United when the two sides met at Old Trafford last season, with Andoni Iraola’s side conjuring up a 3-0 victory.

United, though, will be feeling fairly confident after two late goals helped them secure a 2-1 win over rivals Manchester City in their last top-flight game.

As is becoming almost habitual for United, they followed that huge win up with a disappointing defeat, losing to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

A devastated Mason Mount was forced off with injury early-on in the Manchester derby and is now set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

Luke Shaw will miss the Bournemouth game too with the United left-back currently recovering from a hamstring injury.

Noussair Mazraoui is a doubt for the match against Bournemouth after he was seen limping in the mixed zone at the Etihad on Sunday, although he is expected to recover from his knock.
