£17m Bayern Munich star has already sent Man United transfer message ahead of possible Old Trafford move

Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui has already warned Manchester United what he would want if he were to move to Old Trafford.

As the summer transfer season continues, Man United has been strongly linked to a deal for Mazraoui.

Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro are the only additions the Reds have made to their roster this summer, and it seems inevitable that more will be added before the transfer window ends on September 2.

Mazraoui and United have been connected as Erik ten Hag tries to bolster his full-back corps.

Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are United’s current left-back alternatives, while Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are the right-back choices.

Malacia is not traveling with the United team for their preseason tour of the United States, although Shaw and Dalot are still on international duty.

As a result, United are seemingly in the market for a new full-back this summer with Mazraoui a rumoured target.

However, it was back in April last year that the Bayern Munich defender outlined his frustrations over his playing time.

Mazraoui made just 26 appearances for the Bundesliga giants in the 2022/23 season and then just 29 last term and it remains to be seen if that will change with new manager Vincent Kompany this season.

“Of course, I am disappointed with my situation,” Mazraoui told journalist Maximilian Koch in April 2023. “Before the World Cup I was in the starting XI – now I’m fit and don’t get any playing time. I’m not even second or third choice.

“It’s too early to talk about my perspective here, but it’s not good.”
